1. Update everything you can
Updating your operating system and applications helps improve a lot of things, including making sure things are running smoothly and being more secure.
2. Run a malware scan
It’s always a good idea to run regular malware scans to make sure your computer doesn’t have any unwanted threats. If you don’t have an Anti-virus / Anti-malware application already installed, jump onto Google and search for Malwarebytes, then download, install it and run a full scan.
3. Make sure everything’s backed up
Make sure you always keep a backup of your data. You never know what could happen.
